Cookie policy
Arena uses cookies and similar storage so the book can sign you in, keep a slip, and remember how you like the board. This page says which ones we use and why.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file the browser stores for this site. Local storage on the device can do a similar job for the slip and the sports rail. Neither is used to sell a profile of you to advertisers.
2. Which cookies we use
- Session and sign-in — so we know it is still you after you load a new page. These are required for the book to work.
- Security — a CSRF token so a form on this site cannot be submitted from another site in your name.
- Cookie preference — if you allow the notice, we store that choice for about one year so we do not ask again.
- Book settings — odds format, an open or closed sports rail, and similar display choices.
- Slip — picks you have added on this device, including exchange orders stored locally until they are sent.
We do not drop third-party advertising cookies. Payment or game studios you launch may set their own cookies on their domain; those follow their policies, not this one.
3. Your choice
You can refuse the cookie notice. Required sign-in cookies still run if you sign in, because the book cannot keep a session without them. You can also clear cookies and site data in the browser; you will be signed out and the slip on that device will empty.
