Privacy policy

This Privacy policy explains what Arena collects when you use the book, why we keep it, who on the desk can see it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated 1 September 2026 · Arena

1. Who holds your data

Arena runs this sportsbook. Staff on the desk process your account, tickets, and payments. The controller for this product is the operator of Arena. Write to support@arena.bet for privacy requests.

2. What we collect

Depending on how you use the book, we may hold:

  • Identity — full name, email, nationality, phone number and dial code, national ID or passport number, and any KYC scans you upload (passport, national ID, or driver licence).
  • Account — password (stored hashed), referral code, KYC status, and whether you accepted these house rules.
  • Wallet — deposits, withdrawals, charges, destinations, payment references, and staff notes on those requests.
  • Play — slips, tickets, cashouts, exchange orders, game rounds, and results.
  • Use — sign-in sessions, device and browser data needed to keep you signed in, slip state, and cookie preferences.
  • Support — messages you send the desk, and our replies.

We do not ask for special-category data such as health or beliefs. Do not send that in a support ticket.

3. Why we collect it

We use this data to:

  • open and run your account, including the welcome credit posted at registration;
  • accept stakes, settle tickets, pay cashouts, and process deposits and withdrawals;
  • check you are 18 or older and that the book is yours;
  • prevent fraud, duplicate accounts, bonus abuse, and unauthorised access;
  • answer support, and keep a record of what the desk did;
  • meet house rules and any duty we have to keep betting records.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it to build advertising profiles for third parties.

4. Who we share it with

Staff see your book only to pay, verify, settle, or fix a desk issue. We may also share what is needed with:

  • payment processors and banks, to move money in and out of the wallet;
  • game studios or aggregators, if a title is launched from their feed rather than the house engine;
  • odds and score providers, as fixture data on the board;
  • a regulator, court, or payment-scheme investigator if the law or the scheme requires it.

A referred friend is not given your full file. They may see that a code was used, not your ID document.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account, ticket, and wallet records for as long as the book is open and for a period after closure so we can settle disputes, stop fraud, and keep a payment trail. KYC scans are kept while they are needed for verification and for that same trail.

If you ask us to delete the account, we will remove or anonymise what we no longer need. We may retain a minimal record where we must (for example a ban, a chargeback, or a statutory retention).

6. Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us to:

  • send a copy of the data we hold on the account;
  • correct a name, phone, or other detail that is wrong;
  • delete the account, with the limits in section 5;
  • restrict processing while a dispute is open.

Write to support@arena.bet from the email on the account. We may need to verify it is you before we act. Identity documents used only to verify a request are not kept longer than needed for that check.

7. Cookies

The book uses cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember the slip, and store settings such as odds format. Details are in the Cookie policy. Accepting the cookie notice stores a preference so we do not ask on every visit.

8. Contact

These house rules sit with the Terms & conditions. If the two conflict on how we use personal data, this policy prevails for that point.
